| No spoilers, just the guys talking about how it feels to make it to the 100th episode. It's nice to see them; it's been a while since I've seen an interview with the boys.

| Yesterday Chris did another radio interview. You can listen to it here.
He talked about touring again with KANE after filming Leverage, and the new album, though he's first releasing an EP with about 5 songs on it (not that I know what an EP is...), the release date of that is March 2nd.
More Leverage! More music, recorded & live! YAY!!!!
|
| New episode of Leverage tonight! ... at 10pm on TNT (incase someone who reads this has never watched it before.)
A video (by TwentyPoundsOfCrazy), just because. (Parker is my second favorite character on Leverage)

| For those on the West coast and those going to ConCon: the first date of KANE's 2010 gig at Dante's in Portland, OR has been announced on Chris' website. March 21st, the Sunday of the Leverage convention weekend.
It's still two months from now, but everyone who gets to go; have fun! and bring back stories to share with the rest of us, please.

| SupportSupernatural.com did an interview with Steve last May, when he was up in MI for the Sandra K. Hill Benefit Concert. Somehow I've never seen the video. But today I found them (the interview is cut into two videos) and I want to share them with anyone else who might not have seen it.
It's a fun interview (and 20 minutes long), and reminded me how much I prefer interviews by fans compared to interviews done by 'professional' radio or TV hosts, because the professionals always seem to love to hear the sound of their own voice and therefore spend more time talking than the guest. But that's pet peeve subject that's not the point of this post.
So... go see, Part one Part two

| Steve got some strange inspiration here http://twitpic.com/yj1lc last Sunday.
And today we got to see the result of the inspiration.
Steve: I would explain what is coming but i don't think i can explain it myself... so without further delay...
If he wasn't such a great musician, I would say he should try acting. He's always such a adorkable sweetheart with us, yet he was a great douchebag in this video. I would love to see a gagreel of this, I bet there was a lot of cracking up.
|
| Incase you missed it: Chris Kane has a cool new website! Go check it out; you can download House Rules for free (a gift from Chris) and get wallpapers for your desktop!
According to the ‘Appearances’ page, Chris is planning on playing in London this fall (ETA: at the end of November, as he is scheduled to attend a Starfury convention in Heathrow on November 26-28). And he's still planning on playing in Portland while filming season 3 of Leverage. Now he's only got to get his cute butt to the East coast…
|
| Richard Speight, Jr. has been added to the guest list of all four SPN conventions by Creation in 2010. I had the pleasure of attending his Q&A and talking to him for half a minute last November in Chicago, and the man seriously impressed me. It is not yet known on which day he's appearing at the cons, but I hope he'll be there on Sunday in NJ, because I would love to see him again.
Jason Manns has also been announced to attend and do a concert at the Vancouver con and the Chicago con; that will be a nice threat for those of you attending that con, especially since he wasn't at either of those two last year.

| Title: No Reason Not To Smile. Author: Chrissy6299 Characters: Jensen, Jared, and mention of Jensen/Danneel. Rating: PG Word count: 371 Summary: Life was good! He had no reason not to smile. (RPF, from Jensen's point of view). Warning: This story should definitely come with a warning, but I feel that it would spoil the story, so… the choice it up to you, if you want to read the warning, highlight here >>> main character death. Disclaimer: Jared, Jensen and Danneel belong to themselves. I do not know them. This is 100% fiction, a.k.a. Not Real!
Notes: Don’t ask me where this came from, ‘cause I don’t know. And before you ask, no, I will not be writing a sequel to this one, it's just a little drabble. Thank you sammys_grl and huntress69 for your support and beta work; any and all mistakes are mine. All my other work can be found in my master post ( Jensen looked over at his co-star, smiling at Jared’s antics... )

| You know how warnings can be serious spoilers for a fic? I wrote a little something that should come with a warning, but then it will imo ruin the reading experience. Now I've seen several cool (LJ literate) people somehow hide warnings in such a way that if a reader chooses to read the warnings they can, but otherwise it stays hidden.
How do I do that?!? | |

| On January 25th it has been a year since Kim Manners passed away. He was a very talented man, and, according to many who have had the pleasure of meeting him in person, a great man.
"Let's remember him on 01/25/2010 and make him a trending topic on Twitter. Use the two hashtags #RememberKimManners and #WeMissYouKim and talk about him and his great work. It's not much but we can show our respect and that we won't forget him."

| I read this pretty good Highlander fanfic because it was recommended to me; it’s Methos/Richie and I enjoyed it a lot.
While I was a big fan of the show, I was never into the fandom and only read a handful of fics. I was a big fan of Richie, and I love Methos as well, so I'm looking for good stories that are either Richie/Methos or Richie/Duncan.
Does anyone have any recs, or know where I can look for them?

| Happy New Year Everyone!
I hope that everyone has a great day, that everyone who goes out with firework stays safe (you'll need those fingers again in 2010), and that everyone has a wonderful 2010 filled with love, laughter! and... that 2010 brings us an end to this damn depression so that we've all got jobs to pay the bills and such.
*hugs* | |

| Less then three months until Steve's new CD comes out! We don't have the actual date of when it will be available for sale, but we've got the dates of his release parties! LA, NYC, and London!
I think it's the first time he's playing in NYC, <strike>yes</strike>/no? (ETA: As Ames1010 pointed out to me, Steve has played at the Bitter End in NYC before, it has just been a while.) Anyhow, The Bitter End is apparently convinced of his talent (no surprise there), since they right away booked him for two gigs! And, looking at the schedule, he'll still have time to hop on a plane to Portland to play at the Leverage Con (March 19-21) with Chris, which I hope he'll do for those of you who'll be attending. I won't be making it to any of these shows, but I'm excited for Steve, and I'm excited about the new CD, which I'm sure is going to be awesome!

| To those who celebrate it... Happy Boxing Day!
